Norway House and our neighbors at Mindekirken partner up for a celebration of a modern Norwegian food culture that embraces:

We explore a wide range of Norwegian food culture, while we proudly embrace Norway’s most notorious delicacy of lutefisk to start and end our festival.

The festival kicks off with an upscale dining experience like no other, Lutefiskfestivalen, on November 8th and 9th, a continuing partnership with Lutefiskfestivalen of Norway.

The closing event on November 23rd is Mindekirken’s iconic annual Lutefisk Dinner, the best traditional Norwegian-American style lutefisk event in town.

In between, a variety of classes and events offer something for everyone.

Lutefiskfestivalen—hosted at Norway House—is back by popular demand, now over two nights, casual and formal. Chefs from Norway will prepare lutefisk the “Norwegian way,” with traditional sides. Beer, aquavit, and other alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

Doors open at 6:00pm. Entertainment and cash bar. Dinner service will begin at 7:00pm.

Free parking available.

Refunds available only if event is cancelled.

Sing, play, and create with teacher Kari Stern at Norway House while learning Norwegian! Using immersion techniques (using Norwegian as the primary language in class) children make direct linguistic connections to items and actions without translating.

This class is for children age 2 to 4 years old with a parent or caregiver. Classes are held at Norway House each Thursday, 10 am to 11 am, starting September 19 through December 12.
